Time for a little small writing. Thirty-three words to be exact. Inspired by the Trifecta Writing Challenge‘s weekend challenge: Trifextra.
Thirty-three words inspired by the geology of our Earth: crust, mantle, core.

Scratching through the crust, drilling through the mantle. Opening up the heart’s core is an engineering feat best left to experts. Perhaps I should update my online dating profile to say: seeking geologist?

Thanks. The quote just spoke to the truth of this matter. I need to have it tattooed on my chest in reverse print so I see it in the mirror every single day.
careful what you wish for.

So true! Although a nerdy rock scientist might be just up my alley!

Oh, I like this – very clever take!
This made me chuckle! Who knew Geologists would turn out to be the most eligible bachelors?

Ad could read: “Seeking The One – Geo instead of Neo. Should be down to earth.” Anything about quakes & tremors might draw the wrong kind of response, so take care! There’s so much more to add & be punny, but I’ve already gotten myself up to a PG 13 rating – time to call it quits! Very fun take on the prompt
Loved this. Very clever.

“Seeking geologist” – fabulous! This reminds me of my own piece, only from a different perspective, and much more light-hearted!
Nicely done.
