Life Well Blogged: No Laughing Allowed

Every once in a while, we are provided with an opportunity to make a difference. For me, one of those moments came along when Monica and Abbey of Life Well Blogged invited me to contribute to a compilation of blog posts that leave us laughing — the proceeds of which will benefit those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

I am honored and excited to share with you the first book in a series of nine that is guaranteed to keep you laughing.

No Laughing Allowed

And my writing is IN it :)

Happy dance!

Not only that, but I have five copies of the ebook  to give away.

Happy dance with sparklers!

You know you want one!

Enter below, and keep in mind that the awesome ladies over at Life Well Blogged will be giving away a Kindle Fire to someone on their Newsletter subscribers list!

I have tried ebooks and I have them and occasionally read from them because they’re pretty damn convenient. But there is nothing quite like the feel of a good book in my hands, the smell of the binding glue or that musty smell that comes with age. I like being able to easily flip back and forth and remember good parts, check my predictions, etc. For all that my life is technological, I love a printed book!

How very AWESOME that you are featured in this! And what a great cause to donate to.

I would love another eBook to check out as I just finished Gone Girl and I have a few books on the shelf collecting dust (ie, not terribly thrilled about reading those, I guess…)

Honestly, I love both! I love books in general and at one point I said I’d never use an ereader… then I got one. And I am able to easily get books whenever I want and the best part is that I can hide my book addiction because they’re not laying around the house in plain view!

Truly exciting! I live in NYC and, thankfully, was not directly affected by Sandy, but there was and still is a lot of work to do. Awesome project!

I prefer print books. I like the way they feel in my hand better and flipping pages. I’m old school like that.

Print Books, just cause I don’t think I’ve gotten use to ebooks yet.
