I love the weekend Trifextra prompts.
The 33 words seem like a puzzle to solve. And I love playing with the words until they do what I want and still fit the requirements.
This weekend’s prompt is inspired by the classic story, The Monkey’s Paw and nudges us to ponder wishes better left unwished.
My take:
For years I prayed I would find him: an attentive, articulate, affectionate man.
Now I just pray that he will leave me alone, quit talking, and stop TOUCHING me all the damn time.
